Octavia 1.9TDI EDC15V EGR off

I completly removed EGR system from my octavia, and of course now I get DTC 17849.

I tried to remove DTC by changing 48 value to 65535 or 0 but withous success.
I also tried to find a switch but I cant find it, I tried about 20 single values in the area I think it should be, but still getting DTC.

Car goes normally, no MIL on dash.

Anyone knows how to remove this DTC or find EGR switch?

Hi mate , U have only to delete the DTC code . Forget the switch , the switch is only to turn off the EGR , but u can't remove it .

Try and report , if do not work check the dtc's with this dump.

I have tried this first by myself but still get the same DTC

leave the N18 valve electrically connected,close the hose with the small screw , and turn the EGR OFF by switch and all will be OK ...

But u have erase all blocks ? U have 3 blocks for automatic ..manual.

Log the EGR Value, when u found the switch the value with vag-com is 0.
