starview 7 problem

Jaymagnum...to update software you need to have the privilages to download by making at least 0ne constructive post to another member..

To update software:
1:Click on downloads at top of page.
2:click on latest firmware, file named 3.00 ups
3nce open click on download and save the file 3.00 ups only to your USB and noth the other files with it.
4:close USB folder now.
5: Now to convert to FAT32..needs to be converted to work. You need to right click over your USB folder, then a list of options appear. Click on format.
6: Then you have a small window open. In there you can change file type to FAT32.
7:Click apply and finally your done to stick the usb into back of box for updating sv

if he had box working his firmware is working,if not working then they may need above info.
