the smaller one you can put an external antenna to instead of the screw on.
Personally mate, I'd get a mains powered WiFi bridge instead of a USB adapter.
The downside is you need a mains socket for it, but the upside is you can use the ethernet port on the back of your box and keep the only USB free for PVR/backup
Something like this
Hope that helps.
Hi Sir,
I would like to know in details how to configure this wireless bridge. Im having a modem with internet connection and i think the brand is aztech(not so sure due to its provided by the ISP) and i would like to configure my linksy router to be the wifi bridge and connect it to the SKYBOX ETHERNET PORT. please help. , the markup the sellers are making on them wifi adaptors is crazy, calling them official when they're just basic cheapo adaptors, about 6 quids worth..
Google for Ralink RT5370
Im sure they're just these, that sellers are then sticking in a package saying its official wifi for Skybox..

Mate have u aint got a clue. repackaged. like anyone would go through the trouble of repacking them. look on alibaba and u will see they genuine or have a look on skybox website.
SkyBox | SkyBox
Sorry, dont take this personally (and no offence intended) but only an idiot would believe wifi adaptors are being solely & proprietary manufactured for Skybox receivers only, and only a fool would knowing pay the rediculous price markup to have the wifi adaptor come in a package with Skybox written on it..
If you are going to be using the PVR/timeshift function then stay away from the USB versions and go with an wifi bridge which uses the ethernet port as like it was said earlier, the major drawback to the F3 is only 1 USB outlet and as far as I know it won't recognize a hub either. Real pity.
