2007 traffic 2.0dci. cant code injectors ..

ive got 3 faults in this van 2 for egr valve which has been replaced before van came to me and 1 for injector coding.
i go to special function injector programming and all saved codings are all AAAAAAA for the 4 of them. tried launch, snap on and bosch kts. all the same. ive removed ecu and bdm with same ori software from another van but havent been there yet to test ill try tomorow.
any ideas fuse broken wires etc..?
thought it was worth a mention before i start trawling through this machine..

my bro has a 58 plate and his injectors all show correct codes on my diagun. check you are using the correct version of vehicle in launch.......i chose wrong one and they were all AAAAAAAA? !!
he had new injectors at dealer so they used clip.
diagun gives option to code but i had no need.

yes i know what your saying. ive tried 3 tools same story everytime. there definately coded.

eh should be possible without to much hassle why ya ask..?
it wont accept codes all goes back to AAAAAAA for all 4 nozzles.
ive bdm it with 2mb read from flash from other van with same sw number hopefully it does some good.
ive 2 egr codes there with a brand new valve fitted. !

Was thinking a photo to save qquinting at the numbers.

Would be incluinded to try smacking the plug on the egr valve, incase it's why it wont let you code errectors.

OFF TOPIC:-

Had a car in the other day, changed faulty part, had to do the hokey cokey (in-out -in out shake it all about) with dignostic before it decided the fault was fixed.

Use clip for starters.
Then use config menu,programming option and write injectors one by one.
Not all four at once, but one by one.
It is a bug in ecu. And renault never issued an update...as usual.

As for egr...use clip...config...programming...erase egr adaptives....clear fault codes...ignition off....ignition on for 10sec....start the car...let it idle for a minute....erase fault codes.
If egr is ok like you said (changed/new) no more fault.

I had similar (I guess) problem on P307 2.0HDi. Lost injector codes ... all of them were 00000010. I tried coding them with Texa Axone 2000, Texa Axone Direct, Bosch KTS, Actia Multi-Diag ... did not work. I tried Citroen Lexia, did not work.

Then, I found out that injector codes have checksums ... so you can't put in Meat-Head's telephone number instead accidentally. After triple checking the injector codes I found out that I switched 2 digits on one of the injectors ... after I wrote down the 100% correct codes, I could code them immediately with any of the diagnostic tools above.

do the pesky codes have any 'O's that look like Zer'0's :-)

No, because they are coded with HEXADECIMAL digits, which only have numbers 0-9 and letters A-F.

hi there code 1 injector at a time ive programmed several that way i have used clip ,double check your characters not all 4 together hope you sort it,also make sure do checksum when swapped file with bdm
