    Default recording on ob s11

ok, i have the openbox s11 all up & going great, i decided to have a go at recording, popped in a memory stick , then , recorded a couple of mins of a movie , went in to media player to play it back but i cant seem to , is there a specific way to record or playback on these boxes or something or am i just doing something wrong ? the memory stick i used was the one i used to upgrade my channel list off here so that's ok , i was going to hook it up to my external hd now as i don't encode anymore so its just sitting there, any advice appreciated !

in media player you keep hitting 1 on the remote until it comes to the record menu, then you choose and play.
Usb stick isn't the best way to record.

it does record in 1gig chunks,in case you play to burn whatever you record to dvd.
I am using old firmware now that saves as .dvr files and I use the dvr converter to save as just 1 .ts file.
