    "how to remove pully bolt" Utube video, would you let him work on your car !!

    i once used cellulose thiners once in a moped to get me to the fuel station as i had ran out of fuel,it turned the nylon filter in the fuel tank to snot!,took me weeks to clear it,inagine what his idea of using thinners in a modern fuel injection system would do!,the guys a grade a1 pratt!

    the difference is you had no fuel and running it neat i would expect that,but he was diluting it so nowhere near ,i found a bottle of cataclean might use that first and see.

    Theres a rumor going around, that states, when you get your cat or DFP

    throw some gasoline, brake cleaner, turps whatever, down it, strike a match then get your favorite airline and BLOW it out backwards whilst on fire.

    Makes a BRILLIANT flame and cleans out the cat

    NOTE - UNCONFIRMED rumor.


    Agree with catikid on the moped and the filter/neat not diluted.

    How far was it ridden/stood for with thinners in it?

    Was Banned For Being Certifiably Insane and Stupid

    i have done this with many particulate filters
    soaked them in diesel then put them inside my waste oil burner for an hour or so then blow through them with an airline [this must be done outside] when cooled was leave soak in tfr then wash out and refit to vehicle you get a few bubbles on first startup then give car a good drive
