Question All of a sudden...Signal Issues

    Hi all.

I have a 4 LNB setup going to my HTPC. (1m static dish).Using Hadu and mediaportal and MDAPIFilter on the HTPC.

    28.2, 23.5, 19.2, 13

They wer all working fine before I went on holiday for 2 weeks, I came back on sunday.

All of a sudden ONLY fta channels on 28.2 have stopped working. they all say NO SIGNAL. If i view scrambled channels on 28.2, they WORK. I am thinking this is because they are bypassing the check for a signal, and just playing regardless. all channels are working (both fta and scrambled) on all other sattelites.

I have tried using both cables (it is a twin LNB. One cable goes through a Diseqc switch, the other straight into my living room.) but I am no further forward.

I have tried using another peice of software on the HTPC instead, but It does not pick up any channells when I scan.

The dish is above the kitchen extension and is a right pain to get to, so I want to avoid getting back up there unless i really have to.

I would normally have just written this off as "a bird or the wind has knocked that LNB and is isnt picking up any signal any more", but the fact that I get 94% signal on scrambled channels has really confused things.....

Ok went up to the sattelite and tinkered and it looks like a faulty LNB. Moving one from another position into the 28.2 one brings back all other channels.
