Experience with MB Carsoft 7.4 multiplexer

Hi,
Can somebody share experience with MB Carsoft 7.4 multiplexer ,
What Can I do with this tools , how to ?

Useless old stuff, better if you invest this money in autocom or autel EU...

First, please articulate your expectations or tasks to be solved by the equipment. Frankly speaking, MB Carsoft can do only reading/erasing DTS, live data (starting W210), and some basic adaptations. IMHO, this device is for newbies.

I wanted to
-Read DTC from ECU , EZS , ESL
-Erase DTC
-Do Start Autorisation Check (Check if Key is valid and can Start).
-ECU Coding (after renew)
-Live Data from Engine ECU.
I ordered 1 unit , install is ok ,
Already tested on W203 , C220 CDI , can only read CDI ECU , other modules cannot communicate.
I wanted to share tips and trick with other owner of this tools.
I know it cannot do advanced functions as MB Star. but at least If I can do some basic tests.

If you need all above-mentioned functions- buy Star Diagnose.

I buy one to ! but I not test yet, for what I read, is good for pre 2004 MB"s, if we want a cheaper solution for old MB!
I not swimming in money !

yesterday I test my carsoft in a w203 220cdi from 2001 !
bin able to communicate width several modules like airbag, SAM, ESP, e.t.c but no success for CDI module !

didin"t that cdi work in can ?!
I think carsoft only work in K-line !
I"m wrong ?!

carsoft have a new software V10, but I think it only work in dongle !
anyone got solution for make it free ?!

can you post some pics of your tool ! of the PCB !
I have one, once, to make a test, but inside the PCB was different of the one I have now !
what year was the car you tested ?!
because I can not communicate width the CDI unit !

program says - " no communication width the interface"
I get a little program to test the MB interface
Say"s" conenection to interface succeeded "

TX:63
RX: - I guess nothing !

What kind of RS232 port are you using.Diect com port , PCMCIA or USB to serial , I will post picts off mine ASAP. Good luck
