trying to play newest games on 4.1e

ive sfotmodded my wii 4.1e but im trying to play newer games like donkey kong country
so i tried using a tut from another website now no backup games work
is it worth updating to 4.3 or can fix it another way thanks

Is this donkey kong country an original game or a ripped game? Did this game try and do an update before it would work?

Do you have PriiLoader installed?

It depends on what fix this other web site told you to do, can you post a link?

donkey kong is a backup it didnt try to update as blocked with priiloader

i cant post a link as its from an hacking website the fix bascially told me to do a fresh softmod with up to date ios

Well your sysCheck.zip is corrupt it won't open for me.

Post the report as instructed in that link open it will WordPad.

This will create a sysCheck.csv file on the root of the SD card that can be opened with Excel. If you don't have Excel on your computer you can use WordPad to open it and copy and paste the contents into a thread in here when asked.

So if that site said update IOS's which ones did you update?

You're syscheck is pretty much ok so you should be able to play the games you already could................Have you remembered the shopping channel also needs to be updated. if you play COD then this will already have been done if not there is a good chance that is your problem, here is the shop channel updater incase you need it Digital Kaos - Downloads - 4.3 shop channel updater v20 and here is a full cios pack Digital Kaos - Downloads - Full Cios wad pack extract this pack then copy the contents of the folder to a blank sd card, it should autoload to ios 236 when launching mmm from hbc if it hasn't reload to 236, if it has then once in wad manager press 1 on the wiimote to select all wads then click ok to install them. This will sort out all cios for all games (except tintin) but that's another story.

Are you tring to play backup discs through the disc channel by any chance, if you are then you must have had darkcorp installed at some point but you don't have it now going by the syscheck, which is not corrupt by the way, it opened for me no problem. Install neogamma 9, you will find it in the downloads section, play your discs through that it is much safer than darkcorp.

It should be working m8 stick all the files from cios pack on (just overwrite everything that's on it) if that fails try a different version of neogamma

overwrite everything and tried 5 different neogamma's all still not working, i tried the backup on another wii and it worked

finally got it to work sort of, i run each game thu neogamma r8 and the game starts to load normally until it comes to a load screen after the nintendo safty screen it comes up with message saying disc could not be read, refer to operations manual

We had one like this the other week as well, spooky, he never got it to play discs by the way and just runs it from hdd. There is no reason why you can't play backup discs. All your ios and cios appear correct and if it worked before it something that happened when you tried to update it, you do have the option of running modmii and selecting full softmod wizard. Choose 4.1 as your version and select to finish on 4.3 (it's recommended by modmii anyway). Follow the tutorial from after hbc installation as you already have that. This should re write all your system ios and hopefully restore your ability to play backups. Remember changing version numbers usually removes priiloader so you may have to re install it. After that install that full cios pack again as modmii will only give you d2x 249 & 250. It's the only option you have left,

We have been using this for a long long time Digital Kaos - Downloads - modmii 4.3.4 it is perfectly safe and will auto update when launched so don't worry about it being an old version download it extract the file and run the .exe This is for your pc by the way. select W put in you r current version then the version you wish to be on when finished

i just tried using that and i got a few erros before copying over to sd
something.dll was found was the error
but still downloaded files
i copy them over to sd card and ran homebrew channel nothing came up at all
as i had wiped my card clean for this im still on 4.1 e i havnt updated
