    Default Help with Reciever.

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to add t.v pack!
This is on a protek 9700HD!

I have writen this in sever 1.
This is what i see, and what i have writen what the provider gave me! (but of course i'll leave the details out below )

    server name ?????

sever ip DNS on 0.0.0.0 (is this meant to be 0.0.0.0)

    Port ????

    User ID ????

    Password ????

    DES Key 01 01 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    EMM Disabled

    Protocol NewCamd

I turn the box off then back on, but channels are scrambled.

The server 1 has a yellow light, this should be green!

It then says connecting to (numbers)
    Unable to connect.
    Resolving (provider name)
    Resolving ip= (numbers)

    Keeps saying same thing!
Not sure if there something else i'm meant to be doing!
The yellow says copy from other server. not sure what this does.

What could be the problem? the internet is pluged in.

network setting mode is set to DHPC

    Thanks alot

    Regards

    Mark.

the server ip dns is the hostname you were given , like hostname.dyndns.org

the port is the port you were given, like say 12000

the User ID name and password are self explanatory

the deskey is correct for newcamd

I think you missunderstood my question
I know where to put the info
    But it wont connect.

I just didn't want to add the info on here

    Unable to connect.
    Resolving (provider name)
    Resolving ip= (numbers)

Anyone know if there is anything else i have to do to get it to work?

    Cheers.

    no I didnt misunderstand

you said you had put in 0.0.0.0

( sever ip DNS on 0.0.0.0 (is this meant to be 0.0.0.0 )

my point was that you should have put in the server hostname and not 0.0.0.0

0.0.0.0 comes up on it's own. i can only change it to number.

Sorry i'm put confussed by your replys

    Cheers.
