not too sure what your getting at, but think your going to need the diagbox.
if the dashboard is black, you can only talk to the powersteering.
if dashboard is grey it should all work.

If you don't get diagbox working, maybe fiatecuscan can help.

Dashboard is black here and we connect to powersteering only.
Maybe someone knows how to connect for others .. ??

Have you tried updating your PPS softwear to the latest - see scary mistakes thread.

I don't have any problems communicating with Jumper/Boxer 3's unless that's the fault with the vehicle. (original tools though)
I looked at FiatECUscan multiplexer version and the 2.2JTD is one of the engines not yet supported.
Just FYI:- Planet/Lexia does not have a function for fitting a previously used ECU (Visteon 3 plug DCU102 120bhp at least) so when you get one that is full of diesel or another one that is smashed and the owner chucks it away before you can clone it--- look out for VIRGIN DUMPS!
tried a dump with no success (FFFF).
I'll let the customer get a new ECU then just do the injector codes and variant coding stuff.
I think its something to do with the HW and SW numbers not just the stored immo data.
If they hadn't chucked the smashed ecu, or if they hadn't scrapped the van (with BSI) where the used ecu came from it would be much cheaper!
Lexia last version has small coverage for Jumper III
You need DiagBox and Lexia tool but refleshed one ( Mr. Scary's way ) and The adaptor for Jumper III and Boxer III
well the softwear ask you for this when you want to connect and also said in which position A or B you have to have the switch.
Other wise with Lexia ( also from DiagBox you have small coverage for Jumper III )
I have also FiCom which haven't coverage for Jumper III after 2006.
FiatEcuscan I don't think is good for this.
Good luck
UPDATE:
I shouldn't believe the customer!
I went to look at another vehicle at the same premises and took the opportunity to examine the "failed" virgin ecu.
It had self coded immo to BSI and just needed injector codes and pump learn procedure carried out all OK now.
