serial its ok! you can order chip if its missing!

or buy update , and flash it thru external programmer!

ill look in the morning and if its missing i will order usb chip! i do want to do the update but don't want to bugger it up as i have not got my dp3 at the minute either so i need it! if it connect to retool ok then i will think about doing the update, is the process obtain update.bin and upload using digiloader.exe? also do i need to buy the update from the supplier as I've read that each update needs to have the correct serial number in it? is this correct?

update comes for each sn! if you use update from other sn to your device it will damage!

you can buy 485 from supplier or get 488 from other people!

amd yes, if you got usb chip you can connect with eetool and update device via usb digiloader!
