The ones I bought from china, that are many, all quality is the same, with the exception that YANHUA has a unique serial number at this moment (they use the old ds2401) and the housing is better quality (harder a bit darker plastic). They use also a better rs232 connector. So buy the cheapest you can get and if the rs232 connector is bad, solder a new one on it.

How do I know if the rs232 is good or bad?there is any spec /no or make on it and where to look for it?
Any recommended Chinese supplier by you with YH manufacture?

Why dont you just buy and do what Peter said ( solder new connector) it Will take you 10 min and 2 euro/usd/zlotti. Originally Posted by Shemek

I am probably going to order 4.88 digiprog, was wondering how hard would it be to downgrade to 4.85, seems some people had random number bug with 4.88 on some cars. Want to have option to have both

down grade same as upgrade just follow flash instructions ..cheers
