I know from a buddy me, that it is possible to adjust the polo by OBD(he has also a polo).
And to remove the dash is a lot of work..

You can easily check with digi if your dash is Johnson Controlls or not, if it reads the actual km very fast then you have a JC, if digi reads a part of the eprom first (takes a couple of minutes) and after that showing the actual km then you have a VDO dash, VDO is safe with digi, JC not from my experience.

Anyone know why digiprog 3 can not do km in Vw t4 97 or passat 96 MM by 15+9 cables?

you have all the chancess to finish your dash with this tool...buy prof. tool...xtool or superprog are good...enigma-best

Read the title of the thread mate .. its got **** all to do with prof tools ..
so if you have something constructive to say then say it .. otherwise just go back to the download section and find something you may have overlooked to leach ...

From my experiences, the digiprog have problem with MM dashes and some older cars, i had a audi a4 2000 by obd and the digi says need manuall to do, but than i have do it withouth problem by super vag 4.8 , it is good to have other tolls to, if you will cover all models !

I manage to fix it by desolder eeprom. But I think is something wrong with cable 8/9/15/18 maybe somebody have a schematic for that cable?

17/2 <<< think its for older vag stuff !!
42/2 <<< this looks like a 9s12 lead but on the end of the 2 wire lead is a ceramic cap !

ST42 is for motorolla HC08
ST43 is for P106 / Citr. Saxo - dash diag
ST17 Audi A6 Diag 1994/1996

Yes;the clone works perfect.But there is 2 choices.
The best one is a little more expensive and has a "Q.C" at the backwith Q.C.jpgWithout Q.C.JPG
