Sorry about that, mate. I copy pasted that from another forum, and it was red. I've changed it after 5 minutes or so! And the problem isn't only on Golf 4, it's on Audi A4 2005-2008 too. It's very strange from my perspective.

I've tried this on 3 different Golf 4 cars, a model from 2003, one from 2004 and one from 2005.

I've tried it on a Skoda Octavia II from 2005 and on a Audi A6 from 2006 and it worked on both cars.

Can it be a problem from the adapter, or from the DigiProg 3, or it just doesn't work on Golf 4. I have a friend that knows a guy who works with the same device and can change the km with digiprog on golf 4, but you know how it goes, maybe it isn't true!

Should I try to put another update on it? It's already 4.94!

    Thank you very much!
my friend many golf 4 that year are Bosch and cant done via obd ,20 min job via eprom,

    hi dayo, thnx for info.

for a8 you need to prepare eeprom.. there are several people on other forum which succesfully changed mileage by preparing eeprom and then change by obd.
(prepare eeprom is neccecary.. i tried myself only obd on this car, didnt work)

does anyone know if digiprog can do mercedes slk R172? (i can see obd diag option, and no ezs option in digiprog. maybe this car dont have ezs synchronisation?)

It can do bosch also. Not a problem. And bosch works instantanious.
Those that have the wayting time are MM. 100%.
Digiwigi crack's the pin by bruteforce on MM.
It shoult work, like mine, but probably yours has a problem.

I am using v4.88 digiprog clone. Today gave the warning over the 4.94 version upgrade, but the device did not start again had a blue screen. I waited a long time did not open. Home pa28f800 flash eprom I copy the contents on the card beforehand. I restored again, but did not open it again. DP must be within another front loader. Does that information? How can I recover the device back?

Do cable like I did here with new serial plug

    http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ml#post1894332

but the link doesn't work. He said this also

Should I open up the connector that goes into the digiprog and wire it accordingly to what teera2uk says, that's what the great mystery (at least to me is a mystery, because Im a complete beginner with this) is?

I can't get another cable, at least not soon enough. They are sparse here in Romania. I've searched every single page on this forum, but I still don't know how to solve my problem.

    Thanks for your time, mates!
has you should use a multimeter to measure. removed is not difficult.
