Can I request some Help on How to change km on an Aston Martin Vantage 2010?
the EEPROM is an A82C250, do I need the ST51 like the DB9? or something else?

I have installed EETOOLS2 and done everything i need to there. My Digiprog 3 is communicating and the dump files are showing up on EETOOLS. When saving the dump files to the PC however, they simply are not showing up in the folder i save them to. Have checked and made sure all hideen files are showing and nothing visible on Windows 10. The files i am saving in the folders however are showing up on EETOOLS.

Is there a trick that i'm not aware of as to why Windows is refusing to make these files visible or a special way they need to be saved?

I think files need to be saved as .eep or .e2p if saved as .bin they will not show. I ran into this in the past.

Thanks. I did try this already with a few different extensions but i'll try .eep as well. Certainly curious. It's all working great otherwise

No obd2 , only remuve / open / desolder .

Should be a 93c86 if I remember correctly… as Brend has said open back of cluster you usually can do it on the board still but safer to remove it rewrite and replace.

All in should take about 1hr 30 with removing and replacing the top of the dashboard to get the cluster out.. first few times take a while longer..

If you have a clone Digiprog 3 and menu selection or entering numbers/digits is either impossible or unreliable, I may have the solution; change the electrolytic capacitors on the PCB. Despite not leaking or bulging some of the caps on mine were way down on capacitance with very high ESR causing a lot of ripple from the switching regulators. After I replaced them all with high quality low ESR capacitors (from a distributor like Digikey, not eBay junk) my device now works perfectly.

5 x 470uF 25v (these were the worst on mine)
2 x 47uF 25v
7 x 22uF 35v

Just a warning: on my device some of the capacitor pad spacings on the PCB were not quite correct which meant the capacitor leads fall outside the thermal relief area. This makes them difficult to remove as there isn't room to get a large soldering iron bit in, so you will likely need to increase up the iron temperature (assuming you have an adjustable iron).

Hey all, sorry if this is a dumb questions. I have a kawasaki z800 2013 and I am trying to correct the mileage on the odometer (93C66) will digiprog 3 work for that? And should i worry about disordering the chip from the board? First time doing this any advice will be appreciated!
