Does anyone know what lead ST62 for cas diag bmw ?

Lead ST62 is supposed to conect to the dash plug going to the cluster on E60 E90 E65 to programme the CAS. E65 uses a different connector than the others. I would however not attempt to use clone to do this as the E65 CAS can be damaged if the wrong socket is used. I dont know which socket is which.

Lead ST62 is NOT provide with Digiprog. I think this option will not work !

I believe same suppliers say :
BMW 1er / E81/E82/E87/E88 CAS3 Diagnostic OBD
BMW 3er / E90/E93 CAS3 Diagnostic OBD
BMW 5er / 60/E61 CAS3 Diagnostic OBD
BMW 6er / E63/E64 CAS3 Diagnostic OBD
BMW X5er / E70 CAS3 Diagnostic OBD
BMW X6er / E71 CAS3 Diagnostic OBD

In short I have yet to successfully do a CAS unit with the clone. I have also tried the HC12 cable, which I got from repsoft which also doesn't work with the clone.

Is it not risky trying a 9s12 [or 908 ]with a clone when you have the original?

Is rather but only one way to find out what it can do. Original is not same s/w version as clone so the clone is able to do a lot more vehicles than original.

Don't use that cable press x on the box when it tells you that cable then it should tell you another cable number 16 which is OBD lead or another number which is cluster plug
have not got machine here so i cant tell u cluster plug number
