You will not harm the car trying it as anything VAG ie. Seat, Skoda, Audi or VW but it might be that nothing on the Digi 4.88 will do it.

Thanks for your reply, it only didn't work.

When i turn on the contact And choose the option you mentioned, the Car gives a reaction, but nothing more than a reboot And a reset of the time and service interval km.

It is a start i think...

Actually you can damage the flash on Johnson controls dashboard on a new polo, if you try change km it will say error on dash

What would you advice me to do?
Maybe it's because i'm a noob, but a polo shouldn't be that difficult to handle, right?

I mean it's not a BMW or mercedes that all the info is also stored on the car-key What makes it more difficult...

Mate when It says unknown version the tool has not got the capabilities to change the km for that sw version because it doesn't recognize it. Yes trying another login like golf etc... Might work but JC DASH is only in polo not golf etc might be a VDO dash tho
You want it to change use a different tool. Eg VAG PROG

Is, beside the device What you just mentioned, the digimaster basic/digi-consulate a good alternative?

put the dash out and make per hand.
Not all can make over OBD, are this the first job by digi?

Yes, it is My first job.

I know from a buddy me, that it is possible to adjust the polo by OBD(he has also a polo).
And to remove the dash is a lot of work..

Xcan clone is best for vag (i also made a skoda octavia 2013 with it)-> never killed an dashboard with it

2 Srews on the top
2 srews on the side
2 srews on the button from dash

Put it out
Conect UPA or xprog and read eeprom from mcu.
use nyo then is all ok
