Default Mac Book Pro - Dj Use

Hi Guys i need some assistance/ help/ info. I am currently a part time dj. because of the way technology is going im forced to go the digital route. This means moving from my cd players to a cd player that works through a interface. This enables me to play my music from a pc/mac and do all the neccesary on the cd player. It allows for more features to enhance your sound as a dj.

My problem is which mac book do i take without breaking the bank and also that is going to give me optimum performance. Is there anyone that can shed some light on this matter or someone who uses it for about the same use. All the top guys here are using a mac book but i cannot see the model or type. Screen size is a factor as we (DJ's) work in the dark so i am going to need a bigger size screen 15 inch will suffice but spec wise . Anybody?

Thanks in advance for any tips or help

Buy the best processor you can with least memory, then buy memory yourself and install it, max the memory up save yourself a wee fortune there, also you don't have to buy new, check out the refurb section in the apple site, there basically brand new you cant tell the difference, customer returns, or people who have ordered a mac to there spec and then didn't want it, save yourself a fortune on buying new, and you still get the full warranty, trust me, try the refurb section, but be quick in deciding as these go very fast.
