hi sorry guys i fogot to take my caps lock locks off in my original post
Latest firmware is here Digital Kaos - Downloads - Eurovox EX7000 HD 220109 Firmware
1. Download the required firmware
2. Unzip and copy it to your usb pen or equivalent, ensure filename is (flash.tbn).
3. Insert it into the usb slot and switch power off then back on at the rear switch.
4. box will reboot, open the flash file extract it to its memory and install it automatically.
5. Once flashed select your desired settings, scan then enjoy.
You can find a channel editor here Digital Kaos - Downloads - EX7000 Loader & Editor or you can do it manually on the box itself.
iv flased with the latest firmware just making sure it went on there thanks
dan, I'd personally sort on the box, I know it's a pain, but so is the editor!
thnx finally got it sorted the tutorial was a great help
I'm getting a Hard drive not connected error on my EX7000. When I stick a 1GB USB pen in there is reads it fine and I can the tools in the ez config menu etc.
I bought a 160GB USB 2.0 hard drive which appears to recieve power from the EX7000 as the LED is on.
The drive is NTFS formatted according to WINDOWS XP and can be read and written to within windows. I tried to format this as FAT32 but windows reports that 160GB is too large for that file format.
Is there a partition limit that the ex7000 can mount?
Is there a file system type limitation?
Help with sucesses of using a Hard drive with ex7000 please.
You need to format the drive to FAT32 get Swissknife (free) nice and easy does it in seconds
hey there have you sorted your firmware olut yet i need help myself
happy days are here again

Hi! i have a simler problem as dan here, can ne 1 help? i downloaded the latest firmware for the ex 7000 hd but instead of the file been called (flash.tbn) it's called (main_090122.tbn) if i put this file on a usb pen will it work?
Rename the file to flash.tbn as above.
So i can change the file name myself! copy to pen plug it in and it's all good?
