    A friend lot better at debugging with ida said the eeprom can be removed from the atmel with a little work (and serial changed so updates work). Nice to read vag ecus via obd2. Also couple of actia flashes are going around some run 2011 fine some are incomplete. They can have the serials changed or in software bad serials removed.

    Hi,
    I have a jtag wiggler like the one in the first pricture.
    How are you connecting the 25 way D type to the PC?

    I am plugging straight into the LPT1 but my pc keeps seeing it as an "unknown device"
    and a uSB device at that. But when I ren the H-JTAG prog change to LPT1 it says OK?

    Spent hours on it already, driving me mad.

    hi i tested cp all ok also a1 ok only UART1-Error .is solution for solve this problem thank

    also ARM is little hot

    guys,spent hours to flash my carprog,without success.i use this programmer:http://www.anvilex.de/extern/documents/DS_P009_06.pdf
    don't know what i make wrong.
    pinout that i use
    1 vcc
    3 trst
    5 tdi
    7 tms
    9 tck
    11 gnd
    13 tdo

    connection are made without extension cable.did i need vcc from pin 2 too?
    if someone has ideas please let me know.

    Default Contibute to repair Carprog

    Hello,

    My contribution for this helpful Thread!

    After ask that I have problems with my carprog "pin8 have short to power"
    I put hand on it and resolve this in the best way!.

    So the problem is I bay a CLONE-FROM-CLONE-FROM-CLONE!!! With vary bad pcb layer
    On the micro and in all pcb.
    First to resolve my pin 8 problem whose the missing line on button pcb side and the hole whose not connected!
    Restore all and pin 8 whose GONE GONE.
    Second not read MCU Motorola or I2C or 95...., change all 74HC125D to 74HCT125M put a new cristal and condensators
    And all missing resistors on my pictures and make the new connection on the power socket so that I have more space to close the carprog housing without bending the pcb.

    And in the last modification is that isolate type! Is necessary IMPORTANT!, carprog have a separate GND and when put
    The PCB back in the housing sometimes have problems in read some MCU or eeproms!
    So I find out that the pcb in one side from the regulators make connection to the housing and make in
    The same time short to the another side from the PCB!

    Final Result
    Without put double 74HC125M (8x) to read I2C or 95 or MCU without or with external power

    My carprog read all without external power.

    Hello,

    I check mine, the three smd capacitors, with capacitance meter and found the values are as in the edited photo, maybe by their wrong assembled on mine. But yours all are 100nF?

    Good to now this values!, i make a more fine tuning to my CP

    P.S the fotos what i put there is not my CP, i only take this fotos to show my CP repair.
