    yes ATMEL.
    I important to change this cristal! this is not good i mesure my and see that the 12Mhz is not clean! when you have a ocxiloscope you can see what i say.

    is your LPt interface, wiggler or jtag OK? mybe you have problems with the 244 ttl?

    i have this interface:http://www.anvilex.de/extern/documents/DS_P009_06.pdf
    it's based on AHC125 wiggler and i think are ok.also have gq4x willem programmer with jtag adapter but don't try as not knew the setting for it.

    Hello,

    I check mine, the three smd capacitors, with capacitance meter and found the values are as in the edited photo, maybe by their wrong assembled on mine. But yours all are 100nF?

    crystal changed,but nothing.74hc on wiggler changed,nothing.the only things what should moore change are the capacitors.
    moore ideas what should be?think that ihave try another pc/laptop with lpt to see if the error are not generated from pc side.

    You can try on another PC. Wiggler not working on my laptop but working on my desktop.

    that's i have already in mind,only when found one.owned 2 laptops and one pc,but only one laptop has lpt serial port on it.

    Good to now this values!, i make a more fine tuning to my CP

    P.S the fotos what i put there is not my CP, i only take this fotos to show my CP repair.

    Good to know more from you too. I think my instrument should be not so bad to read them (HP 973A DDM). And I also did a visual check by a magnifier, each of the three is with different apperance and slightly different in thickness. I think the right SMD should be around 100 pF. These are low quality ceramic chips without coding.

    The left one of 100nF is no problem, functioning of bypassing

    Middle and right, by looking roughly, are working together with the two IC's. So if the value not known I think the IC's datasheet may help in some of the way.

    today try on another pc desktop,and wont write,interrupt on 2.20 sec with time out error.that will try another programmer based on hc244,and will see...
