    Default Windows are flickering

    Hi

I am having a really weird issue in Windows 7. I have reinstalled Windows on a new harddrive (legal copy) and since then whenever I have more than one open window the window beneath "bleeds" through and the current window flickers showing bits of the window underneath.
I have reinstalled windows but no help. Linux doesnt do this so I have to think it is a Windows problem.

I know this is vague but help, please....its doing my head in.

Do you have integrated graphics or a dedicated GPU?
    Nvidia? AMD?
Try another HDMI/DP Port if available or another graphics card if you have one.
Install the latest stable driver (not the latest recommended ones, these are often beta drivers which can have some display issues in certain applications).
Screen flickering also occurs if screen refresh rate is changed to a value the monitor doesnt support, but I dont assume this is your problem because you would face a flickering all over the screen.

As it doesnt do it with Linux installed it seems to be a graphics driver issue ?

Whats your PC specs please and graphics ?

Also check your ram memory if removable is seated properly and dust free

Just realized this is from 2012 LOL
