is there any cummins mechanics that can tell me if when doing HP uprate does CPL number have to match or is it just a number for country emission specs

how about if I want to calibrate a Euro-4 emission engine to Euro-3 emission engine? Both utilising the same ECM?
can it be done?

yes it can be done if the same ecu is utilised, but it's a step backwards. in the case of daf lf's euro3 used bosch ecu's and euro 4 use motorala incorporating selective catalytic reduduction

OZ Flasher i have found singnatures here have CPL 8246 is ARD7/8 but one signature had CPL 8246 on the motor & 2834 CPL in ECM that CPL is CARB file & that motor goes very well makes big HP can i use it in any signature or do they have different injectors & cams. Thanks
