    Default Trees That Eat Stuff

I've always been fearful of the notion of trees uprooting themselves at night and walking around eating people before returning their previous location and being 'just a tree' again.

Maybe that's just me. Maybe I'm crazy. But maybe it's true.

We've all heard... "If a tree falls in a forest and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?"

Here's a new one to consider.... "If a tree uproots itself and eats people and nobody survives to tell the tale, does that mean that it doesn't happen?"

So I was perusing the news today and came across these pictures.
They don't provide proof of trees uprooting themselves to devour people but they do prove that trees have a voracious appetite and are not content to be 'just a tree'.

I assume that the sign in the bottom picture read "Watch out for murdering trees"
The tree has clearly destroyed the sign so that any passersby will be none the wiser as to the true and evil nature of trees.
I also assume that the bloke who made and posted the sign was similarly destroyed by the tree.

    Stupid trees!
    I don't trust them.
    And nor should you.
