    Default Changing PCB in hitachi DVD drive

    hi all

    just seen a video on youtube, where guy takes the PCB from one xbox dvd drive, and puts it into another driv, then uses this drive in xbox,(instead of reading/flashing key)
    anyone tried this with an hitachi drive ?
    works computers block me going on youtube and other sites to check it out, so will have to wait till later to get back on those sites

    Yep. Its just a case of swapping the PCB over however the drive key would have to match the motherboard. So the original PCB in theory can go in another drive housing as long as key and osig match
