Hi! Are you good read manual?

"Astra-G and Zafira-A can also be installed with a VP44/PSG5 for Y20DTH. These PSG5 units
    don't need to be reset."

To install this PSG5 pump you don t need code from donor pump. It must work when you put in car
So maybe donor pumpe is not good also..

Is your diesel pump the single plug type? If it is the replacement diesel pump will plug in and work, no programming needed

Restoring this thread for a problem I'm having with the same pump Bosch VP44 PSG5 mounted on an Astra G.

I just replaced the PSG5 module without removing pump from engine cause the broken one gave me a P1630 error.
Now I got the yellow spanner light, the engine doesn't start and the pump makes a noise like a "trrrrr" after I try to start.
    What it can be?

I tried to read errors with a very cheap OBD2 bluethoot scanner that gave me 0 errors

Where should I check the 12Volts? On pump or from the cable?

Also I've read that the P1630 might be the solenoid located at the centre of the pump.
I changed only the PSG module but solenoid is the old one.

    UPDATE:
Checking voltage on pins 7 and 6 I've 12 volts. The donor pump was working fine. I've replaced also the solenoid but still the engine doesn't start. From injectors pipes I've a low pressure, I can close fuel with a finger

    Hallo guys,
after a lot of attempts I decided to give up and buy a new ECU for my VP44.
The question is, what I need to do if I buy a new or used ECU PSG5 for 015 Bosch pump? Does it work by just fitting it on the pump?

My car is an ASTRA G engine code Y20DTH
