Actia communication interface not registered

Hi,

I installed actia multidiag II 2010, asked for the activation code here, everything went ok, but when i connect de VCI to computer and car to test the software, always get the following error:
"communication interface not registered. please execute multi-diag config..." so i cannot establish a connection to the vehicule

Does anyone know a solution for this error?

With II 2010 you can use the VCI serial A070026 and it will work. Btw, what links you downloaded from?

Hi,

In fact i didn't download the software, another person did. But he couldn't make it work, so asked me for help. In fact i don't now which version is best to install, neither found any installation instructions. It was nice if i could install it on win 7.
