That , is your opinion, and yes you are free to have your opinion.

I on the other hand, think that people who work and have this bussines for a living may earn their bread and butter .

When I learn from this guy in a nice and slow way how to do small diesel tuning for beginners I have no problem paying for this.

When you have a real bussines in tuning and you have to eat from your tuning, I cannot imagine you would do everything for free.

I started this thread because I found a nice way to learn a small bit about what tuning is about and wanted to share this information to others who are in the same possition as me.

This forum as I think, is for sharing information and helping others, when I think i have a usefull answer or a usefull post or a question, I post it on DK, Hoping to beable to help and get help.

When I want a good tuning file, I send the ori to one of the tuners (also here on DK) and I pay when i get the modded file back, because they have to work to make it for me.

So when someone takes the work to make learning video's , he works (that is his bussines) and I pay for that.

Conclusion : For me it's ok to support somebody's bussines when he takes the time and effort to make something.

I have no problems with people making money of their own hard work.
Gathering information and presenting it in an easy and understandable way may also be worth the money.
I'm just hoping the source of the information is also happy.

I also do not blame anyone for sharing information that they think are useful for others.

I'm not a big fan of passwords and forum limitations. It can easily stop development benificial for the general public.
I do however understand why many people feel the need to control the information flow better.

Skateboards or not, i realy don't understand why to pay 650 euro to explain 2004 technology.

spend a little more on ORIGINAL software and a TEAM with good customers service.

Instead of paying 650 euro for a video and steal some software.
You better pay for software and ask help from pro's.

could be wrong... until now, what he's told us is opening the world of tuning for us newbees.

Skateboards or not, i realy don't understand why to pay 650 euro to explain 2004 technology. Nobody else is doing it, the edc16 for volvo goes until 2011, maybe old technology, I don't care, I need the information how to do it.

spend a little more on ORIGINAL software and a TEAM with good customers service. I buy ori winols, I buy bdm100 ori, I just need people to explain how to work with it to make simple D5 tuning

You better pay for software and ask help from pro's. Where is that availeble for a newbee,/wanabee tuner ???

If u r trying to imply that member "bijlaard" is the author of the video then I can assure u that u r mistaken. He/she has simply said how useful they r finding the tutorials. The other day I recommended to a dk member to purchase an original upa from elrasoft as I find it a very good product..did I do this to advertise??? I think not!

The OP is only trying to offer some help, give him/her a break!

hmm , Interesting how people think in this world.

When I had the first 2 lessons , I was happy with the content, I told ARD tuning that more wanabee tuners maybe would like this stuff, so I made this threat and ARD shortend the video for demo purposes. (same date : YES)

I payed the full ammount for this video's and just wanted to share my happines because I could understand them.

So please stop trying to kill me on this forum, I thought that this forum was about sharing, helping and to get help, to learn etc.

Maybe it was stupid of me to share what, in my opinion a lot of beginner tuners just would like to know.

First of all, i don't want to kill no one!
TS is not the seller of the video.

Second, this is not a 650euro worth!
Buy a tuningfile with a map pack and compare it to your ori file.
Is way cheaper.

If you have original winols. there is a team who can help you with your files. called: EVC customer service. real pro's.

After the video, do you know/understand what you are doing? or just you look and copy for that ecu, and next month pay another 650? for another video for another ecu?

ALL the info is available on the internet on websites as checksumm, chiptuners, ecuconnections, etc... FOR FREE

If you have genuine soft and hardware. You have an account for customer service, map packs, damos files, etc...
IF you look on the internet (spec. chiptuning fora) you will find all explenation without spending money.


Third, i want to state that this is a commercial! (not by the TS)

So yes it is a post with the intention to sell his own material to users of this forum.

Paashuis, has his own rallye team driving a D5. Forget about that, he drove 2 or 3 times in the arctic challenge, google on that and you see that is a fun rally for rich people with normal cars.

YES I know Volvo's and NO I don't know tuning I'm trying to learn (every day) so I can try to make a living. There for I did buy these lessons.

I now noticed that when you post on this forum people who don't like what you post will try to take you down, it's a pitty this happens in this community.

I will take some distance with things I will post in the future ,At this moment it's "good " that I'm unemployed because I now have the time to write here , (defending myself)

I hope some moderater will close this threat.

Rica makes the best volvo files i have ever seen. Do you see him making video's? why would he?

When you have a valid evc customer nr, try to contact evc programmers. they will tell you what maps to use and how. without extra cash.
