are you using usals?? set your dish up using 1 west using 11.862.h first then fine tune on 12.643h and v untill peaked then if usals is correct, pole is plumb, dish is on motor spiggot straight and lat is correct on motor it should track 45e to 45w if no obstructions. regards mdt

make sure you have your usals latitude and longitude in the location on your box, and not zero/zero like the default

if your usals is set correctly, then your motor isnt

try altering it by up to 1 degree , so from 1.0w to 3.0w and check

if it fails all the time even moving by up to 1 degree, then I dont think your motor has been setup correctly, or its moved

Hi. In my opinion you are too low for HOTBIRD and the west satellites. Try to move your motor tail slightly up. Also check your dish angles and make sure you have correct TP's for the satellites.

Hi. I am not aware of a satellite at 3 west. There is one at 5 west you can try. Reason you may lose 19.2 is because the dish angles may be out. Once you have some sats at west working then send it 28.2 east and if no signal/picture then adjust the dish angles NOT motor tail ie leave motor setting as it is and bring in dish slightly in. DO NOT move dish up or down just bring it in at the bottom. You should begin to see the east sats coming in.
To get a motorized system working you need ELEVATION(height of motor tail) plus dish angles(the way the dish sits on motor tail). Also make sure LNB is centralized properly. Double check your USALS figures are correct. Good luck.
    Regards

Nothing on 5w either. When i meant a changed to 3w meant the longitude 003.00w. Its now on 002.00w and lat 55.90n. Where both 19 and 28 show signals

Hi. Try and change your longitude to 000.01w. On 5 west what channel were you trying to get?? Also did you move the motor tail up a bit?? For 5 west make sure you have one of these FTA channels:

    TMC 11554V s/r 29900
    FRANCE 2 11590V s/r 19990
    MIRABELLE 11678V s/r 29950

Just send dish to 5 west using USALS. Then select one of those channels and adjust dish until you get a picture. When you get a picture check out the other channels working ok.
If all ok then motor and USALS are set up and the other sats should come in with a bit of tweaking about. Always remember to set the other sats to a FTA channel so it makes it easier to see a picture rather than a signal from your menu.

I would try and change your setting to 000.01w and see if it makes a difference(probably not but worth a try). Have a try and see what happens.

    Regards.
