DM500S Crackling Sound

Hi guys

Im having some trouble with a dm i got from China. Whenever i power it on, the sound crackles like mad and picture freezes. It settles down after about 20 seconds, but then when i switch channels the same thing happens again. Have tried scart and phono leads but all the same. Has anyone else experienced this, im using Gemini 4.7 clone safe.
