A HD box would be quite pricey at first and for the sake of 1 channel it would seem a little pointless.There no real demand for a HD box yet cause of the lack of channels available.
Im sure the manufacturers will release one when theres sufficient demand, but as theres only 1 channel and the standard EVs are still selling well it wouldnt be cost effective for them (at the moment)

Think they have shifted R&D to the Quantum to break into the Sat market. But a PVR version should be on the way. As Ronster said economies of scale dictate entering into the HD market on the cable scence and thats the problem, there is virtually none on that platform.
