    Default skybox random pixelation

nothing to serious this...but i have noticed on some channels on my skybox M3 some random flashes of pixelation....now that i think of it, HD channels...and not all...only some.

i am not sure that my line provider or broadband, which i have tested to be solid all the time while this happens is the issue.....so thought i'd throw it out here to see what some of you think.

here's a short clip to show what i mean...its very brief, just a flash...around 14 seconds in here...although hardly noticeable here now i look at it.

but on affected channels this pixelation flash happens every minute or maybe 45 seconds..

    anyway..

Sit and watch bbc hd, or channel 4 hd for a while and report back...

If it's still doing it, it's your dish-lnb-cable-connectors-receiver

    If not, it's probably a network-internet-server thing

I get it sometimes on my m3, not much though and to be honest it doesn't bother me. I also have a legit sky box and it never happens on that so it's just the cheap m3 that's a bit temperamental. Lnb snr is around 75 to 85 most of time.

On one of the affected channels, press the info button 3? time to get the Signal strength and quality bars.

Have someone watch and with one finger press on the edge of the dish at one side then the other side then the top then the bottom. If the signal strength or quality increases when any point of the dish is slightly moved that will give some idea if its alignment.
