    Default Struggling with Eurovox

Hi, as you can see I have stumbled accross this site looking for help. I have purchased eurovox ex1000sl. I bought it under the illusion that sky sports etc would be free. Unfortunatley I think I have been conned. Not all the freeview channels are free i.e itv2, 3 4 etc. Could anybody shed any light on this for me. Any info would be appreciated.

read the red stickies at the top of forum page. if u just bought the box u will need firmware to unscramble channels. the people on here are very helpful and can solve just about any problem rapidly or at least point u in right direction.

Don't worry, you'll be able to watch all of the channels once you've installed the latest firmware and then scanned for the channels.

You'll need a 'null modem cable' in order to connect your box to your computer so that you can install the latest firmware. If you haven't already got this cable you'll be able to pick one up from your local computer shop (not pc world). If you haven't got a serial port on your pc you'll also need an adapter to convert the end to a USB plug.
