Recording no VIX 3.0 (two tuners)

Hi,
question. Recording something on one channel - it records using tuner b. I am able to flip to other services in the meantime on tuner a. Yet if I want to flip to the same service that I'm recording on tuner b it will not allow it. I simply get a blank screen and 'tune failed' and an indication i'm watching tuner b. Is there some setting somewhere to get around this. Surely its possible to watch the same service on both tuners (even if one of then is recording it).

Running VIX 3.0 on DUO+

Have you got a dual feed running into the back of the box ?
Have you set up tuner A same as tuner B ?

think i've sussed it now. Had both tuners set as USALS when i think tuner A should be USALS and tuner b should be left unconfigured. I will test again next time i do a recording.
