93C56A Secured? Write Protect

Hi Guys

I have a 93c56a and the A is very important as it equals 256 x 8 bit. I managed to read a dump from it but i cannot write to it the data i need to. Has anyone come across this as its my 1st time and ive expirienced it now with 2 different immoboxes. Is there anyone that can recommend a good reseller of the 93c56a that is actually 256 x 8 and not just have that printed on it? I bought 2 locally in my area and it does not work. Or does this mean that the info i read is corrupt because the write is protected. Anyone out there that can shed some light or expirience on the matter.

Remember

- read a chip i cannot write back to

- need to write saved data but cannot find a chip i trust or know is really 256 x 8

What kind of programmer try?Uncheck write protect

Choose 93S56 and I will appear 3 buttons- read protect,write protect and clear protect.
Click - clear protect.Now you can record

just had same proble, with something else, 93C46 out, ended up ;loosing a 93C66 - crasy
