Becouse you dont have genuine ross tech. That means your vcds is cloned, and cloner blocked on your computer host ross tech so you dont access update, that way he does not risk that you gona burn your vcds by using wrong version of program.

Hello, I did some time with vag-tacho and it was simple, I think,
select ecu
read pin
program new key
I had no problem
