    Default das not enable

Was running normally, then one day just would't start. When you turn the key, nothing happens. Starter is OK (we tried putting direct voltage to starter - it starts cranking, but the engine won't fire).

I have no fault codes, but DAS cannot establish communication with CGW. In EZS under "Drive authorization", there is state "891: ME Motor Electronics: start enable: NO - actual value. If you press information, it says engine does not see that ignition is ON. What could be the problem?
    hello
i think your problem is not like the above because it common problem in cdi ecu

you have to post the ecu dump ic 95p08
you need to code the ecu again

first of all "your problem is 95% can from ezs.and 5% from ecuengine.faster way to be sure is-to found full set ecu- ezs and key and to test can.or only the ecu.car will not start but will give you full diagnosis.same with used ezs and key.so after you act for repair.

Sorry for asking in this place maybe someone has this problem. Same as above, im having some issue with some W204.004 when i make it crank (position III in ezs) the engine keeps cranking and all lights on dash turn off. I have been tested other battery and do the same. Tested with other battery only for crank motor and original battery to the rest of the vehicle and turn to start engine and all works ok, so i think that is some + voltage drop or some ground poor connection but i can't found it. Somebody has experience with this trouble?

    Thanks!

Problem in my case was ecu!!

I've managed to rebail the BGA mcu and make it work! But it worked for 1 week and then broke again (Maybe i haven't followed every step in the rebail process!)
Anyway,, took another ecu , swapped whole data (cpu+eprom+flash) and it worked like a charm!

    Hello,
I have similar problem in W203 c220 cdi manual gearbox.
I donīt have errors in engine ECU and EIS.
    However Drive autorizathion is NO.
Starter motor does not turn. However if I hold the key in starter position and shunt the starter relay the engine starts, no problem. I can drive without problems until I stop the engine...
I already made a new Key, same result. Changed EIS, same. Changed engine ECU, same. Changed front SAM, same.
Checked and cleaned all CAN connectors on pillar, same result.
    Fuses and relays are good.
I think maybe engine ECU software is not good.
    Engine ECU is a 0281010348.
    Inside is eeprom 95p08.
Attached I send original eeprom from original ECU and also eeprom from used ECU I bought to replace.
Can anyone check these files to see if they are ok ?

    Thanks for your help.
