upgrade Firmware

Hi Guys,
i only have 12 Favourites, i want to get the maximum favourites and also youtube,
if i save all my settings via usb then install new firmware and then the settings will it all work,
please excuse the terminology,

If you look though a few treads the youtube firmware can be very unreliable. Especially with the sound going out of ect I would recommend sticking to the stock firmware or Scooby snack.

I upgraded to youtube firmware and the sync is out,so having to revert back.
