Golf II with DIGIFIZ has 2 different models of dash..

1e model has eeprom 9307, easy to do...
2e model has 40 pins DIL "micro" (see attachment)

Has anyone an idea which IC this is ?

km not stored in this chip but in nmc9307.
this is only for display (mfa).

actually there are 2 kinds of dashes, with or without the "rabbit" symbol.

one has indeed that 9307 as you mentionned, but those WITHOUT the 9307 have that 40 pins DIL micro....
they are very rare, but they exist !

so if anyone know what kind of micro/eeprom this is ??

are you sure my friend this dash is from vw ?
many dash like digifiz have in the past and audi too (without symbol).
can you post foto from front panel ?
i search for pcb in my manual library hdd.
i'm fun old vw's.
