watching english tv in Spain?

Please can someone help?we have a Humax box and a big dish and have watched "english telly"for many years with no problems.The rumour mill is saying as from tommorow there will be no bbc etc,this rumour rears its ugly head every few years.All the local free press are advising people that its all over for us as from 16th Dec!Now there are people selling dreamboxes and charging big money to configure them.Please can anyone tell me what is true?cheers and many thanks.

Surely that's rubbish! The Freesat signal should be picked up in Spain. If so, they can't block it.
