    Default VAG EDC16 EGR off

I understand that the EGR can be switched off by changing the values of the hysteresis maps but does anyone know exactly which maps should be changed. Some files have five of these maps and some have less. Some tuners change all maps to 00000 values and some change only two or three maps. Does anyone know exactly which ones should be changed rather than changing them all and hoping. A little help from a pro ???

    Default egr solution

Real engines don't need forced induction
Who needs a turbo when you have a stupidly quick naturally aspirated engine?

Any of them. They all have hysteresis maps and it is those maps that I am interested in.

I prefer to understand Why something is done.

I have added a jpg to show the 5 hysteresis maps from a Golf edc16. Some tuners mod all five maps, some mod only two. I would like to know which ones MUST be changed and why.
