Wired connection to the router would be best, you should suffer less glitching with wired because wifi usually suffers from interference & poor latency...

Your F3 should work perfectly with your mini dish..

    Default Skybox f3

Hi everyone, I am a newbie. I am thinking of buying a skybox f3 shortly. I have a broadband connection and a sky dish but my sky subscription has run out.
Can someone tell me what I need to do to be able to receive satellite channels when I purchase the skybox f3 ?
Will I receive satellite channels when I connect an ethernet cable to the skybox f3 from my router and also connect the cable at the back of my sky box to the back of the skybox f3?
Pardon my many explanation as I have been doing some researches on this but not getting my luck
I will be very grateful. Thanks.

you could also try homeplugs as well ,save you moving the router, they work fine.
