There is a patch, But you will need to reinstall as you have run the software before applying it.

I personally like to run IDS in vmware.
I am running V84 with V80 calibration files and I add this to the vmware config so module programming doesnt time out:

rtc.startTime = "1371686400"
tools.syncTime = "FALSE"
time.synchronize.continue ="FALSE"
time.synchronize.restore = "FALSE"
time.synchronize.resume.disk = "FALSE"
time.synchronize.resume.memory = "FALSE"
time.synchronize.shrink = "FALSE"
time.synchronize.tools.startup = "FALSE"
monitor_control.restrict_backdoor = "TRUE"

This makes it run as date 20,06,2013.
Patch I use is made by ircpolice.

can you tell what you are using for VCM? I got older cloned GNA and I never really successfully connected it even with HDS.
What is the EEPROM data for the adapter? I have those "original" drivers that came with the head and there are two tiny programs that can check and program the ethernet adapter in the head itself and I think my numbers are screwed up there.
Any idea where to look for proper #'s and install directions? I had been using in another shop the same type VCM and I was able to update it with IDS and JLR NO Problem, now need to work with this one, unless Abritus will do the job....
Also, the GNA is not FLY made that comes and works with the switch.
Maybe it is the time to buy the new one?
