I use the car Batery
Use another car sitting next to one being flashed with jump leads running across. Not ideal but its so hard to get a regulated supply for this purpose.. only found one seller and they wanted around ?450+VAT.

Yes it is hard to get a regulated supply, especially on the go but The running Engine from another vehicle is a good source. I'm going to fit and Anderson connector underneath the grill on my van and make a nice long set of these.

I use both !
for bench regulator power supply !
for OBD power charger !
Why you don't make it?You have some skills to do that?I can help you with power supply 0-24V and 3A (enough if you have battery on you car and it is also enough if you work on bench with ECU).
i need a medium priced solution to keep 14v and maybe 30amps constant, any ideas? iv got this

Your charger won't charge VRLA batteries very well... you will be there all day with that.
Voltcraft SPS 1560 PFC
a simple battery charger vuld be enough
