Default help please to ftp the fix please again.

I am having trying to ftp the fix on my dreambox 500c when I get to the stage of copying the SCCE and Keys over to the dreamboxall goes well but when I unplug the power from the box the changes get undone and I am left with the original SCCEs and KEYs. Hope you can help before I go nuts with this box. Thanks

Are you sure the files are copying across?

Try doing a factory reset and try again.

After you do a factory reset, its as if you've just flashed the image, so you're back to square one with a fresh setup. Copy the key files to /var/keys and roms to /var/scce, then reboot the box and see if the channel clears.

Hi guys, I,ve tried everthing you have suggested I still feel I am doing something stupid but I,ve changed the image twice downloaded the fix again and tried every combination I can think of but all I get is fta channels. What I have noticed after checking all the guides the ftp the fix for noobs final picture shows scce highlighted and in the lower pane the nagroms, if I replicate that I show an scce folder in the lower and a sub box in the upper pane which then shows the nagroms. Help please.

Yahoo got the box back working again and I Knew it would be me doing something daft , I was trying to drag the file over as a complete unit and it was going in as a sub-file. When I moved the indivdual files over one at a time success, hope that makes sense. Thanks for the help I always get from the guys on this site and I am now fairly comfortable flashing images ,ftp, ing and the layout of the dreambox thanks only to Digital Kaos and its members.
