    If you mean flashing over OBD ..
    No
    Have to make the job over Bootmode!

    i readed it 3 times i always get the same content.

    maybe ecu is to new for my g2?

    ecu is virgin could maybe there be the problem??

    is the eeprom read correct??

    seems the G2 only read up to 20000
    then it read blank !!!

    for me it just bad read even a virgin ecu must have good rom inside
    virgin mean only that eeprom is without vin and without the immo keys set

    that wont work, g2 cant rewrite otp sectors in tricore, only optican can to it for now

    This could be the case, or maybe not.
    I have seen many types of virgin ecus.

    - Porsche GT2 virgin contains the same basic ecu content than the normal turbo. Gets reflashed to a basic running program first and then gets reflashed to a GT2 Software.

    - MSS54HP BMW contains only a minimum block in both flashes almost like here. But already has a serial number which is checked online and can only be used once in the regular process. Ecu gets flashed to wake up and run and then it gets its program an calib and third it gets its VIN/IMMO data.

    - Next ecu has full program, eeprom with basic instructions and needs to be aligned to the car with tester. Like a smart MEG1.1. Afterwards it is updated to the latest software.

    -Other ecus are fully programmed to vin and only need to be attached to the car.

    Everything is possible. :-)
    To verify it would be fine if anyone could post another virgin read of any VAG EDC17 for check.

    today i read a used ecu from G6 CP 20 also with tricore 1796, and flash looks complete.

    This file is not CP20. It is old CP14.

    Hi can also please read the virgin EEPROM?
    I think you do not need to flash ROM, OTP sectors etc.
    Just virginize EEPROM.
