Default 3 E3231 Mobile Dongle, used?

Hi, I recently bought a standard E3231 dongle from a 3 store, the first one had two round 3 logo stickers on the box, which could be peeled off easily and replaced, this dongle turned out to be faulty.
The replacement had a real red security sticker on the bottom and a square 3 logo sticker at the top, again easily peeled off, I'm know concerned weather these are used or returned dongles just being re-sold. Has anyone else bought a dongle from a 3 store.

I would not want a used or refurbished dongle plugged into my new laptop, I'm not judging any body but a lot off people use the internet for, well you know, so I'm worried now that I've got a dongle used by who knows who?, Sorry for such a lame post but this is important to me, thanks.

hello and wellcome to dk, enjoy your stay.

on boxes that contain electronic equipment such as dongles there should be a security sticker which is on the top flap which you need to brake before you can get to the contents, if this is not intact when you buy the goods then you can simply refuse to accept them unless it is broken in your precence.
