    Question Frequency tp differences

    Hi, newbie here.

I have an issue with the reported frequencies on Hotbird 13e on my skybox F5. I have done an accurate scan and the channels are there, however they are reporting a different frequency to what is listed on lyngsat. e.g.

    Novasports 1 mybox 11975H 27499 Lynsat 11823H 27500
    Novasports 1HD mybox 12281H 27500 Lyngsat 12130H 27500
    Novasports 2 mybox 12320H 27499 Lyngsat 12169H 27500
    Novasports 2HD mybox 12281H 27500 Lyngsat 12130H 27500

If I try to scan an individual TP say 12130H it should give me Novasports 2HD however it returns "no channels found".

Has anyone any ideas why there are these differences as I'm confused.

    Thanks for your help.

    Thanks for the reply nibblitz,
King of sat report the same frequencies as Lyngsat. The frequencies on the web and the box seem to correspond on 28.2 but not on hotbird.
Just makes it difficult to scan an individual tp.

i use kingofsat and when in red denotes a recent change, and i notice changes today.
    Hot Bird 13A / Hot Bird 13B / Hot Bird 13C (13E) - All transmissions - frequencies - KingOfSat
you should be able to do a manual scan on the new info to get that channel back, then delete the non working ones,or automatic scan does entire scan ,some people just work off new bouquets depending on box.

    Hi !

If you notice, all the frequencies that you report are at an offset of 150 MHz from the ones on Lyngsat (and kingofsat). This means that your LNB setting is wrong and instead of the usual Universal (9750 - 10600) you have put Universal (9750 - 10750).

This means that the receiver will send a change from Low Frequenciy to High Frequency 150 MHz later. Receivers' tuners actually tune between 950 and 2150 MHz so they use displacements to calculate the exact LNB frequencies and yours is off by 150 so it reports frequencies 150 MHz higher than the normal....

I hope this is clearer now ...

    Regards
