Alientech do one with a counter that can be reset

i think i found one, but the seller know almost nothing about it :S, typical chinese ppl

As far as i can make out theres no kess v2 clone with out counter some say 50 read/writes some say 500 read/writes who knows we will just have to wait and see .......

Hi folks! Maybe this is old news by now, but I bought mine from this supplier. They told me not all KessV2 clones is from the same factory and maybe this is true. I say maybe because most China dealers are in fact only pushers without too much knowledgr about what they are selling. Anyway, my KessV2 clone works fine - recovery mode too ( :-) )
The pusher claims there is no 50 flash limit in their unit. Time will show... KESS V2 OBD2 Manager Tuning Kit Master multi-language

Another lier, don't trust. And be ready for your limitrer to appear when you have 10 remaining flash tries.

I have bought it and did one small remap to my ECU (OBD2 port) I even tried to flash back a very old tuned file from a couple of years back when my ECU had lower SW revisions. The motor died completely because of this stunt, but recovery mode got it back to life again with the backup file. Land Rover Freelander 2 TD4 160ps 2007 mod. Hope to be able to disable EGR soon. Maybe anyone know where to find the map and what values to put in it? Only zeros???

Please read the product review. They claim it has 500 tokens. I really don't know if it is true or not. The only thing I can tell you is that if the damn thing don't work you will get a full refund. I did with some other unit I bought there.

Today I wanted to solve the problem of the counter and wrote to seller.

Seller contacted the manufacturers and the answer: to the chip with counter 500 is not. Only 60 times. Chip with counter 500 has for K-tag Programming . Although at first he also said that there is a chip for Kess2. Deception. Nowhere is there such chips for kess2 with counter 500.

All Kess clone came from the same manufacturer....so don't trust on 50-60-6000 token....there's about 30 token available.

Hi all, I read all this thread. but I still understood ways how to download help files.
K-TAG ***8203;***8203;option, no selection possible, only CANCEL option.
ECU selection not available.

I welded 100k resistance.
I uploaded the files to SD. (I selected hidden, read-only).

but only few help files, just some ECU.
med17.5 example tricore no help.
anyone can help?

Hi "mechanik" I look now in my kess v2 clone - and even don't see med17.5 . I thing the the kess v2 or k-tag clone can't make it i am not sure .
I never try on this ecu model but now I look on the help files and i don't see it there - it maybe have option to read it but the connection could be wrong .
Let someone else say it's interesting.
